WHAT IS KERATOCONUS?
Keratoconus is a progressive condition associated with the thinning of the cornea in certain areas causing an irregular refractive surface and blurred vision.
By fitting the correct hard contact lens, the practitioner creates a more spherical (regular) surface for the eye which results in improved vision.
